Not Under My Roof: the bachelor party she cancelled

Where Not Under My Roof begins

At a family gathering, in front of everyone, his future mother-in-law rules out any stag night. Sixty minutes on, her own daughter is upstairs sleeping and she comes to him with a different proposal.

The present she has in mind is private and extremely practical, and it is not meant for two: a pair of her friends slip in through the kitchen entrance.

Opening: the veto

The first episode is the family gathering and the public cancellation, a scene that sets up the hypocrisy the rest of the series enjoys.

Behind the lock: the back door opens

The locked episodes are the private party itself, with the mother-in-law as host and her friends as unexpected guests.
