Candy Shorts on phone, laptop or TV: the app and video question
People look for a Candy Shorts app, a download, or the videos on Dailymotion and YouTube. Here is how watching actually works, and what those uploads are.
In one line
Candy Shorts play in the browser at candy.ai on phone, tablet or computer. There is no download, and videos posted on other platforms are not the real episodes.
No app store needed
Candy Shorts are watched on the Candy AI website. Any up-to-date browser works: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Adding candy.ai to the home screen of your phone gives it an app-like shortcut.
Phone, tablet, computer
| Device | How it looks | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Phone | Fills the screen held upright | The best fit for the portrait format |
| Tablet | Large, with bars at the sides in landscape | Hold it upright |
| Computer | A tall column in the middle | Fine for subtitles and browsing |
Your account and unlocked episodes follow you from one device to the next.
Downloads and offline viewing
Candy AI does not offer downloads. Episodes stream from its player, so you need a connection to watch.
Dailymotion, YouTube and other uploads
Searches such as candy ai shorts dailymotion turn up videos with Candy Shorts titles. They are trailers, compilations of free openings or bait for other sites. Candy AI does not publish full episodes on video platforms. More on that in the leaks guide.
Subtitles and sound
Seven subtitle languages can be picked in the player: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. Headphones are a good idea if you are not alone.
Quick start on a phone
- Open candy.ai in your phone browser and go to Candy Shorts.
- Play episode 1 of any open series, no account needed.
- Sign up for free when asked, to unlock episode 2 and the Spicy shelf.
- Add to home screen from the browser menu for one-tap access.
When a series doesn't show up
- It is Spicy. Spicy titles stay invisible to logged-out visitors. Register for free, then search again.
- It was renamed. Candy AI occasionally tweaks a title; search for one distinctive word from it.
- Wrong site. Make sure you are on candy.ai rather than a copy using the Candy Shorts name.
Recent series to try on your phone
Short previews of the newest additions. On a phone held upright they look exactly as they will in the Candy AI player.

Subtitle languages
| Language | Code in the player | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| English | EN | the default for most titles |
| French | FR | searches like Thérapie de couples avec Margot Vey |
| German | DE | German-speaking viewers |
| Spanish | ES | Spain and Latin America |
| Italian | IT | searches like Terapia di coppia con Margot Vey |
| Portuguese | PT | Portugal and Brazil |
| Japanese | JA | Japanese-speaking viewers |
The language can be changed from the player at any time, also halfway through an episode.
Laptop or desktop
On a computer the episodes play in a tall column in the middle of the browser window. It works well for browsing the library, reading series descriptions and changing subtitles, and nothing stops you from watching there; a phone simply makes better use of the portrait frame. Full-screen mode in the player enlarges the column but keeps the side bars.
