Step by step, for free
- Go to Candy Shorts on candy.ai and pick any open series. Episode 1 starts straight away.
- Create the free account when episode 2 asks for it: an email address is enough, no card.
- Open the Spicy shelf which now appears, and play episodes 1 and 2 of any Spicy title.
- Repeat across series. The free episodes are per series, so sampling many titles costs nothing.
Adding up the free episodes
Two free episodes out of five is a large share of a typical series, and it covers the set-up, which is usually where you find out whether a story is for you. Across all 56 series on this site, that is well over a hundred free episodes before spending a token.
The free part is also the right test before paying: if the first two episodes do not work for you, the locked ones rarely change that.
Where free ends
From episode 3 (occasionally 4) every series costs tokens. Paid episodes are unlocked with tokens, which are bought through Premium (100 each month) or as separate packs.

Free does not mean low quality
The free episodes come from the same series and the same player as the paid ones, with the same subtitles in seven languages. They are full episodes, not trailers. The only difference is where in the story they sit.
